Bro. Douglass Thompson has faithfully led the Genesis ministries since 1996 with a commitment to sound Biblical teaching, integrity, and excellence. With more than 60 years of ministerial service, his calling centers on developing an authentic body of believers modeled after the church in the Book of Acts – people committed to being both hearers and doers of the Word.

A gifted teacher and counselor, Bro. Thompson has helped individuals and families apply Biblical principles to relationships, spiritual growth, emotional challenges and everyday life. Alongside his wife of 50 years, Sis. Jessie Thompson, he has served and encouraged people from all walks of life while raising a family of four daughters.

Beyond ministry, Bro. Thompson brings more than 21 years of professional experience in the food and aerospace industries. He holds degrees in Pastoral Studies from Aenon Bible College, Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.
